B2B Outside Sales Representative

B2B Outside Sales Representative (Full-Time)

Position:

We are looking for a new member of our team to help us increase our clientele base and sell our products to HVAC/R Contractors, Building Owners, and Facility Management Groups. This is a B2B position, with many of the sales being to Contractors, Installers, and Property Managers. The position will also require the submission of various bid packages to Hospitals, Municipal Groups, Colleges, and Military/Government Groups.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • New Business Development via Networking, Referrals, Cold Calling and Advertising
  • Making sales presentations to clients and prospects, conferring with them regarding their supply needs, and providing them with applicable solutions
  • Working with clients to provide competitive pricing with satisfactory value, determine and develop order specifications and follow up on orders to completion
  • Generate price quotes when necessary and present them to clients
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Perform/Assist in customer training if necessary
  • Consult with all applicable company and supplier departments to address and resolve any clientele complaints or comments regarding customer service or product performance
  • Attend office sales meetings twice monthly to inform the inside sales group of clients’ requests and requirements and report the status of sales
  • Follow up with each client on a consistent basis, making sure to speak to every client at least twice per month, and visiting with each client at least once per month

Qualifications:

It is important that our sales representatives are initiative-taking and personable with an everlasting hunger to learn more about the business and earn more through results. We are always looking for team players who will remain ethical and optimistic with a commitment to customer service.
In addition, we require a Minimum of 3 Years in the HVAC/R Industry, with a decent understanding of the standard products used in everyday service. Wholesale experience is a plus. We also expect our Sales Representative to have basic Computer Proficiency, especially with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM, and good phone skills.

Inside Sales Assistant

Inside Sales Assistant (Full-Time)

Position:

We are looking for a new inside sales team member to service HVAC Contractors, Building Owners, and Facility Management accounts.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Quoting customers on various products from the Mechanical, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Electrical, Safety, and Janitorial industries
  • Following up on quotes in a consistent manner to ensure peak customer service performance
  • Processing orders and expediting them to get products to clients in a timely and professional manner
  • Working with clients to provide competitive pricing with satisfactory value, determine and develop order specifications and follow up on orders to completion
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Consult with all applicable company and supplier departments to address and resolve any client complaints or comments regarding customer service or product's performance
  • Following up with customers on a regular basis to ensure constant communication and updates on the company's product lines

Qualifications:

It is important that members of our sales team are initiative-taking and personable with an everlasting hunger to learn more about the business and earn more through results. We're always looking for team players who will remain ethical and optimistic with a commitment to customer service.

While a college degree is preferred, candidates should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED Equivalent with a decent understanding of the industry standard products used in everyday service. We will entertain the notion of hiring an entry-level candidate who shows promise. We also expect our Sales Representative to have extensive Computer Proficiency, especially with MS outlook and Excel, strong Internet researching skills, and good phone skills.

Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver

Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver (Full-Time)

Position:

We are looking for a responsible warehouse associate/delivery driver to service HVAC/R Contractors, Building Owners, and Facility Management accounts. This position may include deliveries to our customers. Our hours of operation are 8:00 am until 5:00 pm but the candidate may be required to start as early as 6:00 am. Overtime may be available.

Priorities for this job include driving a forklift, handling, and maneuvering a pallet jack, inventory adjustments, fulfilling stock orders, computer skills, and package handling. Being able to converse and interact with our customers is paramount. As would be following routes and time schedules, loading, unloading, preparing, inspecting, and operating delivery vehicles, and completing logs and reports.

We are asking for a minimum of one year of experience in a warehouse setting and/or two years of experience with 16' and 20' box trucks. We are looking for associates who is a quick study in learning our procedures, follow directions, work hard at their job, and become a Tristate team player.

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):

  • Receiving and Verifying shipments into the warehouse
  • Coordinating deliveries with the sales team and clients
  • Loading and unloading the company trucks for next-day deliveries
  • Maintaining accurate inventory
  • Entering orders and receiving orders using programs on a computer
  • General warehouse maintenance
  • Effectively deliver and pick up products in the NY Tristate Area (Including NYC Metro Area), as far north as Dutchess County and as far south as Atlantic City
  • Follow routes and time schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Track and review manifests to ensure the accuracy of orders
  • Safely operate heavy box trucks (20' Truck, 16' Truck, and a Cargo Van)
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after trip
  • Heavy lifting will be required up to 70 pounds
  • Following DOT regulations and safety standards

Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Valid and clean professional driver’s license
  • Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
  • High school degree

Responsibilities (included but not limited to):
